Globitel, the leading telecom solutions provider, has launched the “Missed Call Notification” Service in MTN Sudan, on June 26th, 2011. This instigation comes as part of Globitel’s steady growth in the region, and MTN’s commitment to its mission of maximizing their customers’ experience through innovative telecommunication services.
Powered by Globitel, MTN’s new “Missed Call Notification” service ensures that subscribers can always know when someone had tried to reach them, even when mobile phones are switched off, so they needn’t worry about missing important calls. The service also protects users’ privacy, as it does not disclose to the calling party that a missed call has been left on the subscribers’ phone.
Mr. Fadi Qutaishat, Globitel’s Vice President – Sales & Marketing, commented, “We are happy to announce our successful launch of the ‘Missed Call Notification’ service for MTN Sudan, a company with whom we have enjoyed a strategic project partnership. It is always our focus to increase revenues for our clients while enhancing their operational efficiency, so we’re looking forward to unveiling more and more pioneering telecom services in the region.”
On the other hand, Mr. Feras Osman, VAS Manager at MTN Sudan, further delighted in the launch saying, “It has always been our goal to regularly provide value-added services to our customers, and to boost their experience with MTN through constant innovations; hence the launch of the “Missed Call Notification” through Globitel is an ideal illustration of our goals.”
MTN Sudan is part of the MTN Group, the second largest mobile operator in Sudan with over 4.8 million subscribers. MTN Sudan’s strength comes from its experience in successfully rolling out a sophisticated network, creating a meaningful distribution mechanism in the country and thereby providing an innovative service to its subscribers.
