Globitel has recently launched a solution to help operators target idle subscribers on their network. The system monitors inactive subscribers, and, as soon as they come online, it captures their attention by sending them engaging promotional messages.
“There are large numbers of inactive subscribers on operator’s networks, and these subscribers are sometimes unaware of the new promotions and offers by the operator. This creates an opportunity for the operator to target this segment and reactivate these subscribers” said Sharif Nabulsi, CEO of Globitel.
Globitel has put this service in commercial use at two mobile networks in the Middle East, and is rolling out more installations in the near future.
It is worth mentioning that Globitel, established in 1996 in Amman, Jordan with local offices in Saudi Arabia, and UAE, has succeeded in penetrating many international Telecom markets, signing agreements with world operator groups as well as expanding its footprint through alliances with major Telecom partners to cover 3 continents, and serve the needs of over 46 mobile operators in more than 40 countries with more than 200 million subscribers.
