Quality Assurance Officer
Position Summary:
Perform various levels of testing on products/projects based on established testing strategies and cases. In addition, supporting Globitel teams with product/project knowledge on functions and issues.
Position Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and perform testing for Globitel products/projects.
- Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools, and process.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects. Execute test plans and perform reporting of testing efforts.
- Assist project leaders in solving quality assurance issues. Work collectively to solve defects
- Support teams to adapt changes and accept additional knowledge, in order to develop their skills in dealing with problems.
- Assist in disaster recovery testing, functional, load, and stress testing.
- Evaluate and test software programs to verify programs function according to user requirements
- Validate that software performs to established guidelines.
Required Competencies:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance and software testing
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies (manual, automated, performance, regression)
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
- Experience in functional, integration, and system testing
- Ability to design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft SQL server and Databases
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
- Knowledge of best practices in automation framework design.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- Experience in testing software products for call centers is a plus.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Any relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB CTFL, Selenium WebDriver) is a plus
